What to see

Hourly Guided Tours
Unique to the SLCC, join an Ambassador for one of our hourly guided tours on the hour from 10am – 4pm. Included with Museum Admission, the hour-long experience includes:

A hand drum welcome song
Inspiring fifteen-minute film
Guided exhibit tour by Cultural Ambassadors from Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation

WHAT WE TREASURE TOUR
Tuesdays through Sundays – Hourly from 10 am – 5 pm, with the last tour starting at 4 pm*.

Experience our signature tour, “What We Treasure”, delivered by Cultural Ambassadors who share their own stories and first-hand cultural experiences. Part of the Canadian Signature Experiences, our What We Treasure tour is a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience found only in Canada. Throughout this tour your group will view artifacts and hear stories that give an overview of the past and present way of life of the Squamish and Lil’wat peoples. This tour includes a welcome song, short film, and exhibit tour.

Safety & Guidelines

LOCATION
The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is located in Whistler, British Columbia, at 4584 Blackcomb Way in Whistler’s Upper Village.

DIRECTIONS
From Vancouver: take Highway 99 (Sea to Sky) north to Whistler. In approx. 100 kms, turn right off Hwy 99 at Lorimer Road into Whistler Village. The SLCC is located at the corner of Lorimer Road and Blackcomb Way, across from Lost Lake Park in Whistler’s Upper Village (approximate driving time: 2 hours).

PARKING
Limited parking is available onsite off Blackcomb Way; additional parking is available along Blackcomb Way (2 hours max street parking) and in the Day Lots.
