Description

Backcountry Brewing was formed by a team of owner/operators each heading up their respective departments; head brewer John Folinsbee, Director of Sales Marc Roberts, and Marketing Manager Ben Reeder. This collaborative team spirit continues to guide and shape our company and also earned us the title of “Best Rookie Brewery” at the BC Beer Awards in 2017 along with awards for all 3 of our core beers. With a focus on brewing hoppy ales using new hop varietals as well as fruited sours, our brewers are constantly experimenting with innovative ingredients and techniques. The brewery is situated in Squamish BC and is complete with a 100 seat tasting room, retail area and kitchen run by head Jules Laporte.
