North Shore Driving Tour

  • Vancouver

Description

Driving through Stanley Park, with a stop at the Totem Poles, we will make our way over the Lionsgate Bridge to Capilano Suspension Bridge. We will walk across the 450 foot suspension bridge, built in 1889, 230 feet above the canyon. Explore the Tree Tops Adventures and brave the glass floored Cliff Walk. Leaving Capilano, we will drive along the Upper Levels highway through North Vancouver to Deep Cove for lunch at Arms Reach and a honey's donut (a favorite of all visiting movie stars). Next stop is a 2 hour excursion to Grouse Mountain by gondola. Grouse will give you the best views of the city. We will visit Grinder and Coola our resident Grizzly Bears then take a chair lift to the top of the mountain to see the magnificent views of the Lower mainland. We can take in the Lumberjack show and the Raptor Show before heading down. We will finish with a trip to Granville Island and a quick city tour including the rest of Stanley Park, English Bay and Gastown.
