On this trip you will sample the many flavours of the region, from locally grown produce and baked goods, to delectable Okanagan wine and craft beer and spirits. The best way to explore the area really is through your stomach!
The first day of this experience is an arrival day. At Kelowna International Airport, you will pick up your rental car and travel on to Vernon at your leisure. You will then be free to enjoy Vernon's many parks or rest for your activities tomorrow.
Today you will sample the best Vernon has to offer. Your day will begin at Davison Orchards Country Village, a local farm known for their apples, pumpkins and fresh baked goods. Embark on a tractor tour of the orchards to learn about the process of growing their delicious fruit and don't forget to try the apple pie! After visiting the farm you will travel back into Vernon to Okanagan Spirits' flagship distillery for a guided tasting at their Farm to Flask experience. The rest of your day will be at your leisure to rest and relax in Vernon.
Davison Orchards Country Village
Begin your day at leisure to get breakfast and do some last minute produce shopping in Vernon. From there you will depart Vernon and travel on to Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. On your arrival in Kelowna, you will visit the iconic Mission Hill Winery for their Behind the Cellar Door Experience. Here you will visit Mission Hill's underground cellar with a winery representative before enjoying a paired wine and food tasting. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to check in to your accommodation and get to know Kelowna.
Behind the Cellar Door
Today you will embark on the Jason Parkes Trail Westside Tour. On this trip you will be transported to West Kelowna, where your driver-guide will show you around the region's best breweries, cideries and wineries, with a lunch stop at a local bistro. This is an all day experience, and includes return transport to and from your accommodation. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

Today you will say your farewells to Kelowna and travel to the southern tip of Okanagan Lake at Penticton. Penticton is BC's craft beer capital, so it would only be fitting to sample what it has to offer! Most of Penticton's breweries are located in the downtown core within walking distance of your accommodation, so the day will be at your leisure to arrive, check into your accommodation and whet your whistle!
Today is a departure day. We hope you enjoyed your time tasting the Okanagan Valley! After checking out of your accommodation, you are free to continue to your next destination, return to Kelowna or continue to explore Penticton and its surrounds.
